  • Whats in the rings?

All the rings we create contain different types of material but most contain a synthetic opal for the reason opal produces many vibrant colors that strike abundantly at different angles. The other main material we use to fill in the inlay are different types of mica powders to create colored and detailed backgrounds for the stones. The rings themselves are tungsten-carbide, titanium, stainless steel, or ceramics. I am working on full gold and sterling silver cores.

It should be noted we use synthetic opal. Our reason for synthetic over natural opal is mainly to cut down the costs for our end and you, the customer as well as get the uv-stable nature provided by synthetic opal.

  • Can you take custom materials?

Yes, we are able to accept materials to use meaning your own pieces of gems and powders. This includes the ashes of family members or pets for those looking for something quite memorable. Incompatible materials to this acceptance are liquids and any kind of hazardous material. If you're second guessing if you're even able to ship it, it most likely is not shippable. As this would mean custom work, reach out to me in order to further coordinate the process of ensuring I know what I will be and receiving said item(s).

  • What's the best way to get in contact for a ring?

Via the contact form below our FAQ section where you're at or reaching me via email. If you chose to skip the contact form and message my email raleigh@ralsworkshop.com (you might get a slightly faster response at your price of going out of the way to email), add a brief subject title on what you are reaching me for whether its a request to order, request for consultation or simple inquiries and questions. Both methods I will try to respond to as soon as possible regardless of form)

  • I have something I want done that you might have the tools to do that I don't. Can you?

Although I don't typically offer special services to do stuff out of our norm, feel free to contact me in regards to whatever idea it is you have. I'm always welcome to ideas and can provide for a quote if its something I'd be able to perform for you. I have equipment to laser engrave items on a variety of materials and make custom shirts or accessory.
